Another way to try out what suits you is through student internships, career orientation courses and much more. Pupil internships are now compulsory in most federal states and take place for 2 or 3 weeks in the 7th and/or 8th grade. The difficulties start with the search for an internship - often the young people are sent on a search without any experience or real instructions, and wander around the pharmacies, shops or kebab stalls. Apart from some areas, such as nursing, the supply of work experience placements is often thin. But there are a few sites where you can search.
