On the digitization of schools, the expansion of daycare centers and the Corona pandemic
Germany is lagging behind: complicated administrative and political structures and the missed digitization of schools as well as a lack of daycare places, make the situation in Germany more difficult, as the current Corona Pandemic once again makes clearer than ever before. Again and again, educational projects such as "Schools on the Net" or the "Digital Pact for Schools" are initiated, but then disappear into nothingness or are only implemented half-heartedly. Dieter Dohmen criticises this "shop window policy" and calls for better educational opportunities for all children and young people.
